The adult education in Hallstahammar is part of the unit for Work and Education and belongs to the Social and Labor Market Administration. We conduct Swedish for immigrants, Swedish as a second language basic/Swedish basic, basic mathematics, social orientation, and nursing assistant training both as commissioned education and as regular education in our own facilities at Industrigatan 1 C. We procure other adult education. We collaborate with many different actors with the goal of providing citizens with the best possible conditions to achieve their study goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help educate tomorrow's health and care staff? Do you want to be part of a competent team that together finds working methods and approaches based on the individual student's needs and conditions?

We are in a dynamic period where we are training both active health and care staff and completely new personnel. We are a smaller education where we collaborate with many different actors with the goal of providing students with the best possible conditions to achieve their study goals. In the nursing assistant training, we work with classroom instruction both theoretically and practically in method rooms. We actively work with value-based issues and rules of conduct to create a safe and healthy environment in our operations.

As an employee with us, you will have close cooperation with the principal, other teachers, language support, administrators, study and career counselors, students, and staff at Job Center (whose mission is to strengthen job seekers' position in the labor market). You will also collaborate with unit managers, nurses, and other staff within elderly care and the unit for support for people with disabilities in various ways.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has good self-awareness, is secure in themselves and in their pedagogical leadership, and has good collaboration skills both with individuals and in groups.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have a strong commitment to lead and teach in the classroom based on knowledge goals, governing documents, and the current curriculum.

You have high expectations of the students, believe that everyone can succeed, use individualized working methods, and are prepared to create the best conditions for implementation.

You are a licensed vocational teacher in health and care. We would like you to have experience in planning lessons and teaching health subjects from previous experience. We work with various digital communication methods and want you to have digital competence that you use daily as a natural tool in learning.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities with a focus on collaboration skills, social competence, the ability to take responsibility, and good initiative.

OTHER

Hallstahammar municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area, and we welcome applicants with knowledge of Finnish in speech and writing.
